After 5 years of suffering adn continuing to worsen with a CFIDS diagnosis, I began to seek answers outside of the conventional box.  I saw many MD’s, many of them with less cognitive function than I had left.  It was a very frustrating time.  Only after finding a good team of MD’s did my health start to improve.  After starting cholestyramine (CSM), I was tested again for Lyme Disease and this time I was CDC positive for IgM WB at Quest labs.  Now the question was how to treat this illness.  There is so much controversy around this that if you wait for general agreement on treatment, you probably won’t do very well.  I decided to follow the ILADS treatment protocol which involves longer-term antibiotic rotation treatment.  Over the past 8 months, I am starting to feel much better.  The treatment can be found at www.lymediseaseaction.org.uk/conf2007/index.htm
